Kuopio Dance Festival

Kuopio Dance Festival is the oldest festival of contemporary dance in the nordic region. Every year in June the city of Kuopio will host a wide spectrum of activities around the artform we call contemporary dance. The main goal is to show performances that will challenge, shake and recharge the audience’s perception of what dance is and can be. In addition to a wide range of performances the festival also arranges courses and seminars among other things.
